Buriton is the quintessential English village situated in the heart of the South Downs National Park and can boast two great pubs for lunch or dinner. Toads Alley is situated just off the center of the village, a 3-4 minute walk from the Church and Manor Barn (for those coming to a wedding, it couldn’t be more convenient). We are also a short 10 minute drive from the Tithe Barn at Ditcham if you are attending a wedding or function there. For those who enjoy walking the village is at the foot of the South Downs Way.
The nearest town is Petersfield, a 10 minute drive away, which has plenty of shops and cafes and is on the main line from Waterloo to Portsmouth Harbour.
Portsmouth, Winchester and Chichester are all within easy reach with plenty of things to do from the Historic Dockyard at Portsmouth with HMS Victory to the National Trust properties of Petworth Park and Uppark. Goodwood is close by too for those interested in motoracing, horseracing and golf so we’re perfectly situated for the Festival of Speed, Glorious Goodwood and The Revival. Chichester Harbour and the Solent are both under half an hour away for those interested in sailing or for catching a ferry across to the Isle of Wight.
